Adventure Education Programming for Church Groups

The Adventure Centre offers many programs designed to meet the specific needs of your church group. Our specialized programs are professionally designed with the support of experts in the respective fields, and professionally facilitated to increase the likelihood of on-going transference to your group or team. Many of The Adventure Centre's clients have returned regularly to benefit from various programs, some for as many as 15 to 25 years.

The Adventure Centre facilitators provide years of experience in fields such as communications, team building, psychology, social work, counseling, teaching and adventure/experiential education. The Adventure Centre staff consists of degreed professionals who have the appropriate training, licensing and certifications for the various programs and activities offered.

Traditional Programming

Our traditional 1-4 day experiential program that takes place outdoors at our 250 acres wilderness site and is designed to address the learning objectives of your church group. Participants range in age from elementary students through adulthood, and objectives include: valuing the diversities in a group, building self-esteem, understanding leadership styles, developing group problem-solving skills, enhancing communication, understanding one's impact on a group, and responding effectively to conflict. These programs are professionally facilitated to meet each group's specific objectives.

Fully Customizable and Adaptable to Your Needs

Whether your adventure education experience is on our campus or at your church, your program is specifically customized to suit your objectives.  Prior to your experience, we will provide you with a thorough needs assessment questionnaire.  We utilize this information to create a customized itinerary with carefully selected activities to meet your desired outcomes.  Our program and facilitators will always remain flexible to your church group's needs and requests.
