  • The event was definitely a learning experience for the students. The focus on teamwork was the highlight for me. The facilitators gave clear, simple directions for the activities. They were patient, flexible, and encouraging with the students, which was greatly appreciated. The students had fun and had a chance to work on problem solving skills along with the concept of making an individual sacrifice to benefit the group-- VERY IMPORTANT point for our students to practice. Of course, the s'mores were a huge hit as well!

  • We were pleased with all aspects of the journey-- from the living space to the food and especially pleased with the facilitation of the outdoor components. Have you ever seen the time-lapse videos where they show a flower blooming? I totally believe that I witnessed my students 'growing' before my very eyes. The Adventure Centre truly is a healthy dose of Miracle Grow!

  • "Last fall i brought a group of business professionals to the Adventure Centre at Pretty Lake. I cannot begin to tell you the training value that we drived from the experience. The grounds were spectacular, the minimalist yet welcoming setting alooed our group to focus on the training, and the catered food was first-rate. In addition, the Adventure Centre facilitation team won the trust and attention of the group. I highly recommed the Adventure Centre at Pretty Lake, and would vouch for their training services and location at any time."

Challenge. By providing a series of challenges, we enable our participants to grow at both the team and individual level. We design our activities to provide enough of a challenge to stretch your group’s limits, while providing enough support and guidance to expand them. Adventure. Our programs are inherently fun and exciting, but your experience is much more than an adventurous day—it will be a turning point for your group or organization. Your learning outcomes are designed to be utilized long after your team building experience. Reflection By allowing the time and space for reflection, our participants engage in an active process of reviewing the events, performance, and emotions evoked by their Adventure Centre experience. This process provides powerful opportunities for self-discovery, compassion, and collaboration.  Dialogue Through direct & thoughtful dialogue, your group is provided the opportunity to enhance communication effectiveness at the individual and team level. Our goal is to help create emotionally safe opportunities for your group to further explore and understand one another.
